Whitirea Park is one of those places that’s stunning no matter the weather. With its rugged landscape, serene beaches, and winding trails, it’s a photographer’s dream. We picked a classic Wellington day—cool, a bit gray, and definitely a tad breezy. But Ranee wasn’t fazed at all, she was determined to get some stunning maternity photos!

The day was a mixed bag according to the forecast, so we were ready to take on the elements. The great thing about an overcast sky is it acts like a giant softbox, giving perfect, even lighting. The wind made Ranee's hair and dress dance beautifully and we simply embraced the wild, windswept vibe.
Sunset Surprise
As we took photos in the long grass on the hilltop, the clouds decided to give us a wee break, and we caught a glimpse of the golden sunset. It was the perfect touch to the end of our session.
