Ah, Whitirea Park – what a magical spot for a sunset maternity session! This time, it was Chelsea and Gaspar’s turn to embrace the golden hour, and let me tell you, it was breathtaking.
Chelsea arrived looking absolutely radiant in one of my new favourite pieces from the studio wardrobe – a white boho dress that flowed like a dream. The soft lace and flowing fabric just screamed ‘goddess vibes,’ especially against the beautiful natural backdrop. There’s something about that dress that adds such an elegant, effortless touch to every shot, and on Chelsea, it was pure perfection.
The weather couldn’t have been better either. Wellington decided to be kind to us (yay!) – it was a lovely sunny day, with just the perfect hint of wind to give Chelsea’s dress that cinematic flow. It felt like nature was in on the session, lending the perfect light and breeze to create those dreamy, candid moments that are simply too good to plan.
Gaspar was an absolute star, too. You could see how excited they both are for their little one to arrive, and that love just radiated through every photo. Whether they were sharing a quiet moment together, or simply laughing in the golden light, it was clear these two are going to make the most incredible parents.
Maternity sessions like these really are something special. There’s something so peaceful yet full of anticipation, and when nature gifts you a day as perfect as this one, it’s like the whole world is celebrating with you.
