As a cake smash photographer, I love capturing the pure joy that comes with a baby's first birthday celebrations! Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing cake smash photos for gorgeous baby Elena at my Tawa studio. Elena's Mum chose the theme of pastel pink, purple, and silver, which created a such a pretty set, perfect for celebrating this special girl's first big milestone.
From the moment the session began, it was clear that Elena was ready to destroy her cake! As she approached it, her eyes lit up with curiosity and it didn't take long for her to explore the sweet treat, creating a delightful mess that made the experience even more fun!
Cake smash sessions are wonderfully unpredictable. Some babies are a bit hesitant, while others know just what to do, and this little girl was definitely in the latter group! She embraced the experience wholeheartedly, diving face first into the cake, then feet and then using it as a chair! That cake had no chance!
But the real magic happened during the bubble bath at the end. As cake-covered Elena was placed into the bubble bath, her face lit up with the biggest smiles of the day. The bath not only cleaned up the sticky mess but also provided an opportunity for some truly fun splash photos.
